Contents

The subjects are limited to the following areas that are essential for courses in the bioinformatics curriculum: For all these subjects, we concentrate on the essentials, discussing both the basic mathematical background and computational methods. All computational examples are based on the scientific computing platform R. Students are further required to do homework, mainly based on R, too. The course starts with a short introduction to R. The distribution of course material, all assignments, submissions, markings, etc. are handled by means of JKU Moodle.
