Motivation:
Students select an assignment from a list of possible choices including the implementation of a published algorithm and test-driving or expanding existing algorithms or software, but students can also choose to solve a theoretical problem. Students are assigned a supervisor for instruction and support.The topic of the practical course may be combined with the seminar topic. The final grade is determined by:
- the project presentation
- the presentation of the results (oral presentation, poster or round table discussion)
- a written presentation
