Motivation:

Students are required to give an oral presentation summarizing scientific publications on a topic they choose from a range of suggested topics. Pros and cons of the selected approach are discussed in context with other published approaches and the results have to be handed in as a paper. Students are assigned a supervisor for instruction and support. Students may combine their seminar topics with the topic of the practical course.

The final grade is determined by a combination of the oral and written presentations.
